Who We Are

  • Adaptive Creative Arts Therapy was founded by Faith Marafino, a New York State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with more than five years of experience serving individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Faith built this practice on a simple belief: that every individual deserves access to therapy that meets them where they are. Music is that bridge.

  • The clinical and evidence-based use of music to accomplish individualized, non-musical, functional goals. Music engages both cognitive and emotional systems, making it especially effective for individuals who cannot access traditional talk-based interventions.
